NZ Hat and Hair Art Awards 2012 Categories
Are you ready to enter? Your challenge is to design and create an outstanding artwork. Your design must be entered into one of the following categories:

Māori Legends and Myths

Unexplained Mysteries

Mythology of the Ancient World

Carnival Magic

Prizes
Supreme Awards - $2000 each, to the overall winning Hat Art Design and Hair Art Design.

Category Awards - $750 each, to the best hat entry and the best hair entry in each category.

Finalists Awards - $250, awarded at the judge’s discretion

Student/Apprentice Design Awards - Prize value $500 each to the best hat entry and the best hair entry from all student/apprentice entries.

First Time Entrants Awards - Prize value $500 each to the best hat entry and the best hair entry (any category) by a first time entrant.

Technical Workmanship Awards - Prize value $500 each to a hat entry and a hair entry (any category) recognising excellence in design construction.

Total prizes valued over $15000 will be awarded
